Come and Try Sailing on Hazelwood Pondage

From midday to 6pm Bring along change of clothes, towel, hat and sun screen & a sense of adventure
The Latrobe Valley Yacht Club is located on the western shore of the Hazelwood Power Station cooling ponds. The Club is surrounded by large grassed areas, picnic and BBQ facilities, accessible toilets and camping facilities provided by the Latrobe City Council. In between sails enjoy a kick of the footy, a game of cricket or simply lay back and soak up the surroundings. The water temperature of the pondage is 24 degrees Celsius all year round, so bring along your bathers and go for a swim along the purpose built sandy beach. Come for lunch at the kiosk, or have a BBQ on the beach all welcome. Come and watch, Bring your boat and join in, or Jump on a boat with our experienced club members.
